Stephen's love for art and architecture started at an early age and grew into a passion as an adult. He holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Detroit and in addition, he studied Interior Design at the Harrington Institute of Interior Design in Chicago. Throughout his 37 year career as an Interior Designer, he has incorporated many of his paintings into the design scheme of his clients homes. Stephen has chosen to create his art using acrylic on canvas, although experimentation will always be present in his work. Stephen's positive energy for personal and spiritual growth, is shared with a commitment to continuously grow as an artist.
The source of Stephen's inspiration comes from a deep love of God, a fascination with nature, fashion and music, as well as a passion for interior design and architecture. Using diverse combinations of color, texture and motion also contributes to communicating and inspiring mood in his art.
